Chris Mattos running for Vermont State SenateChris was born, raised and has spent his entire life in Milton. Upon graduating from Milton High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont School of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

Chris owns his own property management business with a focus on residential real estate and excavation. He is also a licensed real estate salesperson assisting clients with successfully navigating the everchanging real estate market.

In 2017 he was appointed to the House of Representatives to fill a vacancy left by former Representative Ron Hubert. He has been elected three times by the Milton community and most recently, through redistricting, the addition of a small portion of Georgia. In his seven years of experience, he has served on the House Ways and Means and Education Committees. Since his first year, he was also appointed to the House Discrimination Prevention Panel. In addition to his legislative work, Chris also serves on Milton’s Board of Civil Authority, is a Justice of the Peace and Vice President of the Board of Directors at the Milton Family Community Center.

Chris resides in Milton with his wife Kari, their son Cash and dog Riggins.
